- Fiducial
Participated · Equity · Apr 2026
Fiducial started in 2022 as a student project out of TU Delft and has since evolved into a defence-oriented dronetechnology company staffed largely by TU Delft alumni. The company develops computer-vision and software capabilities that allow drones to operate and be controlled in environments where conventional systems fail or are constrained. Its technology has been validated in combat conditions and is being integrated by drone partners active on European frontlines. A large European aircraft manufacturer is among the users of its technology, and Fiducial has expanded its offerings from industrial inspection to defence use cases over the past year. With the recent €2 million financing and Rabobank loan, the company plans to reinforce its role as a technology partner for both European drone producers and civil customers. Fiducial shifted to a defence focus amid developments in Ukraine and perceived needs to strengthen European defence capabilities.
- Touchwaves
Led · Seed · Jan 2026
Touchwaves, founded by Charlotte Kjellander and Martin Romero as a spin-off from Dutch research institute TNO, builds next-generation wearable haptics that deliver intuitive, non-invasive tactile feedback to users operating in high-workload settings. The system is initially aimed at fighter-jet pilots and is being co-developed with the Dutch Ministry of Defence, the Royal Netherlands Air and Space Forces, and the Center for Man in Aviation to reduce human-factor errors and improve mission effectiveness. Designed as a dual-use platform, the company envisions the same technology supporting elite sports training, ground operations, and healthcare applications such as breathing guidance and stress resilience. The startup’s long-term goal is to establish haptics as a core human–machine interface wherever cognitive load and stress are high. Touchwaves has secured €1.5 million in pre-seed capital to accelerate product development and expand its use-case roadmap. No revenue or user figures have been disclosed to date, and the company remains in its early development phase.
- LiveDrop
Participated · Seed · Jun 2025
LiveDrop builds a software-based solution that enables fast, secure, unidirectional offline data transfer via optical encoding on standard hardware such as laptops, smartphones, and cameras. The technology is designed for seamless integration into mission systems and existing software environments, removing the need for wireless or network-based communication. LiveDrop focuses primarily on the Defense & Security sector while pursuing a dual-use strategy with potential applications in cybersecurity, healthcare, and secure end-user devices. The company was founded in 2021 in Eindhoven and currently has a twelve-person team. With an oversubscribed $2.5 million seed round closed, LiveDrop plans to scale its technology across defense, government, and civilian sectors and accelerate international deployment and deeper integration into secure data ecosystems. Investors are also expected to provide strategic guidance and market access to support deployment in NATO countries and beyond.
