Overview

Unity Ventures is an impact investment catalyst. Their mission is to unlock the potential of financial markets to generate impact - societal, environmental, and economic. Initiated by experienced professionals and partners with deep roots in the region, their focus is on Central and Eastern Europe. As a region, CEE is simultaneously underserved by capital markets, suffering from many societal and environmental challenges, and home to countless talented, driven, and committed innovators. However, for many reasons, the promise of impact investing is not living up to its potential in the region. Unity Ventures sets out to change that.

The company plans to target roughly 1,000 units annually once production ramps and will manufacture in China with final assembly in California. Evotrex has prioritized service capability early—hiring its first service employee six months ago and bringing on its first sales hire more recently—as it spends the next 10–12 months on durability testing. The startup has raised $46 million to date and is using the new capital to complete testing, finalize manufacturing plans, and prepare for deliveries.
