- Silicon Data
Led · Series A · Aug 2026
Silicon Data provides pricing indices, performance benchmarks, forward curves and market intelligence for the AI compute economy, aimed at buyers, sellers, exchanges and financial institutions. It has built a portfolio of nine financial-grade indices covering GPUs and LLMs and offers alternative datasets that track supply, demand, utilization, pricing and economics across compute. The company has over 1,000 registered users and counts semiconductor manufacturers, AI model builders and financial institutions among its daily users. SiliconMark, a product funded by the Series A, benchmarks real-world GPU cluster performance to normalize output differences driven by networking, topology and configuration. Silicon Data spent two years building the pricing and performance history needed to support a futures market and is positioned to be the reference layer for cash-settled GPU futures being planned by CME Group. Financially, the company raised a $4.7 million seed in March 2025 and completed a $30.5 million Series A initial closing to fund its next phase of product and market expansion.
- Heron Power
Participated · Series B · Feb 2026
Heron Power is developing a modular solid-state transformer, branded Heron Link, that converts medium-voltage electricity to the 800-volt power required by modern servers and other high-demand loads. Each 5-megawatt unit contains multiple semiconductor-based modules and integrated lithium-ion batteries, allowing failed modules to be swapped in roughly 10 minutes and providing 30-second ride-through power that can replace traditional uninterruptible power supplies. By combining several pieces of legacy equipment into one, the product can eliminate roughly 70 % of data-center power gear and materially cut both cost and points of failure. Although data centers currently represent about one-third of sales interest, the remainder comes from solar and grid-scale battery operators that value the transformer's speed and bidirectional power management. Customer indications already exceed 40 GW of demand, prompting the company to plan a factory capable of producing 40 GW of transformers per year. Pilot production is targeted for early 2027 with full ramp-up over the following two years. The company has raised successive rounds in quick succession to accelerate these manufacturing plans, leveraging founder and CEO Drew Baglino’s two decades of high-volume production experience at Tesla.
- Bedrock Robotics
Led · Series B · Feb 2026
Founded in 2024 and based in San Francisco, Bedrock Robotics is building system-level autonomy for the construction industry by upgrading excavators, bulldozers, loaders and other heavy equipment with advanced vision and control software. Its flagship Bedrock Operator platform allows contractors to manage connected fleets that run longer, reduce idle time, and improve safety while addressing the sector’s acute labor shortage. After emerging from stealth in July 2025, the company completed a large-scale supervised autonomy deployment on a 130-acre manufacturing site and is now piloting with contractors across port infrastructure, industrial facilities, data centers and earth-moving projects. Bedrock plans to launch its first fully operator-less excavator deployments in 2026, marking a significant leap toward fully autonomous job sites. The firm recently strengthened its leadership team with executives from Meta’s AI safety group and Waymo’s engineering organization. Its rapid execution and capital efficiency have attracted top-tier investors and pushed its valuation to $1.75 billion. To date, Bedrock has secured more than $350 million in total funding to accelerate product development and large-scale roll-outs.
