  • Optimized Electrotech

    Led · Equity · Apr 2026

Optimized Electrotech develops battle-tested electro-optic platforms that combine advanced sensors and AI for defence and related applications. The company has deployed ground-based systems in mission-critical defence environments and cites an ADITI win as strategic validation. It has secured initial orders for a satellite platform and is designing programmes with scale toward a constellation capable of delivering persistent, real-time imaging and surveillance. Optimized Electrotech describes its technology as AI-native imaging engineered for convergence across land and space domains. The company plans to use recent funding to accelerate satellite development and build constellation-scale infrastructure while expanding its presence in defence and homeland security markets. Coverage frames the firm as positioning itself as a sovereign sensing-stack provider that integrates hardware, software, and intelligence layers.

  • Autoverse Mobility

    Participated · Equity · Nov 2025

Autoverse Mobility operates the Autoverse Parts Procurement Platform, a fully integrated web and app tool that connects workshops to manufacturers and their distributor networks for real-time parts sourcing. The catalog hosts more than 6 million car-part mappings, allowing precise fitment checks and alternative part comparisons. Workshops receive instant visibility into stock levels, pricing, and delivery timelines, and can place one-click orders with end-to-end tracking. Complementary garage-management features such as loyalty programs, automated recommendations, and profitability insights further deepen adoption. Founded by Mihir Mohan alongside Shiv Soni and Krishnakumar, the company recently added industry veteran Rama Shankar Pandey as co-founder to strengthen manufacturer relations and scale distribution infrastructure. Autoverse has secured $3.2 million in venture funding from Exfinity Ventures and Ventureast. The capital is earmarked for expanding its catalog coverage, upgrading technology infrastructure, and broadening its logistics network. By tightening the supply chain for authentic parts, Autoverse aims to boost trust, speed, and transparency in India’s aftermarket service ecosystem.

  • Maieutic Semiconductor

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2025

Bengaluru-based Maieutic Semiconductor is building a generative AI copilot that integrates with established electronic design automation (EDA) tools to streamline the traditionally manual task of analog and mixed-signal chip creation. Trained on publicly available patents and research papers, the assistant can parse specifications, circuit diagrams and simulation outputs, answer engineers’ questions in natural language, and suggest alternative circuit architectures while flagging design inconsistencies. The company says the software can shorten portions of the analog design cycle by 50-66 percent, speeding time-to-market for chipmakers. Early customer trials are scheduled to begin by March, with a wider commercial launch to follow, initially targeting global chipmakers with design centres in India and Japanese semiconductor firms. Users will be able to run the tool locally to protect sensitive design data. Maieutic recently raised $6 million in seed funding, providing capital to support product refinement, hiring and go-to-market execution.

  • Chara Technologies

    Participated · Series A · Oct 2025

Chara Technologies is a Bengaluru-based deep-tech company that has developed a synchronous reluctance motor architecture that eliminates the need for rare-earth magnets, reducing motor cost by 15–20% while matching the performance of permanent-magnet synchronous motors. Its proprietary control algorithms, power-electronics architecture and software underpin a full stack powertrain platform designed, engineered and manufactured entirely in India. The firm targets two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers and off-highway equipment, and it is the first rare-earth-free motor maker to secure approvals from both ARAI and ICAT. Chara has filed nine patents (one granted) and counts nearly 100 customers, including Greaves Cotton, BullWork, Sonalika, VST and several European OEMs; it also has a strategic manufacturing partnership with Greaves Cotton. Current annual production capacity is 20,000 units, and the company plans to quintuple this to 100,000 units by building a new factory and testing facility in Bengaluru. Upcoming product lines will include lighter high-speed motors, higher-capacity variants and industrial models, further broadening its end-to-end powertrain offering.
