- ZERØTEC
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
Founded earlier this year by sustainability consultant Nicholas Betts, ZERØTEC deploys patented AI technology that re-engineers pattern design and fabric cutting to eliminate waste at the very start of garment production. Its cloud platform can reduce material usage by up to 15%, addressing the 60 billion metres of fabric—worth more than $300 billion—traditionally discarded before clothes reach stores. More than 250 brands, including Fortune 500 apparel companies, have already piloted the solution, validating its commercial potential. The company’s edge lies in algorithmic pattern optimisation, distinguishing it from incumbents such as LECTRA and Gerber Technologies that focus downstream. With fresh capital in hand, ZERØTEC plans to accelerate R&D, grow its team, expand manufacturer integrations and scale pilots with global names like H&M and Nike. Longer-term goals include international expansion across the EEA and MENA regions, capturing 500 million kilograms of carbon and onboarding 50,000 users. The recent pre-seed raise brings its total external funding to £642,000.

Using a patent-pending AI technology, Breathment offers a mobile, 24/7 digital physiotherapist experience accessible via patients' smartphones. The solution also enables remote monitoring and data-driven interventions for healthcare professionals. In a clinical study in Germany, Breathment demonstrated a 21.4% reduction in symptoms among COPD patients and a 20% improvement in overall health level. The company is reimbursed by leading insurers in Germany and Switzerland and aims to use the investment to further develop its health technology and accelerate growth across Europe.
- Voda
Led · Seed · Jun 2024
Voda offers guided, bite-sized therapy programmes co-created with seven LGBTQIA+ psychotherapists and psychologists, using modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT and mindfulness. The app targets LGBTQIA+-specific challenges including coming out, gender dysphoria, hate speech, and discrimination, and translates therapeutic approaches into accessible digital tools. Launched in 2023 and based in London, Voda has reached over 35,000 users globally, with a significant portion in the UK. The company positions itself as culturally competent and trauma-informed, emphasizing co-creation with lived-experience clinicians to ensure clinical rigor and relevance. With rising anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation and cuts to public mental health services, Voda plans to expand its queer-affirming services and scale resources to meet growing demand. Financially, the company recently completed a funding round to support that expansion and has not disclosed a valuation. Voda is an LGBTQIA+ mental wellness app designed to increase accessibility to mental-health support for the community. The company emphasizes inclusive, targeted mental-health resources and services for LGBTQIA+ users. Voda completed a test launch in 2023, which preceded its recent fundraising. The startup has raised £270K in pre-seed funding to support its next steps. The round was led by SCE Freiraum Ventures and included impact investors Lightbulb Trust and ULTRA.VC. The company is described in coverage as a UK startup.
