Founded in 2023 by ex-Lydia executives Maxime Bensadoun and Victor Jolly, ECAIR acts as a financial co-pilot for installers undertaking energy-transition projects. Its platform converts quotations into fully funded projects by offering an integrated capital stack that spans installer working capital and point-of-sale consumer loans. The newly launched consumer-loan product uses an AI-driven underwriting engine that calibrates repayments to a home’s projected energy savings, making projects cash-flow positive from day one. On the B2B side, ECAIR has already deployed more than €8 million in working capital to installers. With electricity prices up 80% and gas 120% in France over the past decade, the company targets a €15 billion French residential renovation market and a €100 billion opportunity across the EU. Proceeds from its latest funding will accelerate product rollout and support expansion across France before scaling further into Europe.

Crosstown develops the proprietary H2R® Burner that allows existing gas turbines to operate on 100% renewable fuels and provides multi-fuel, transitional capability from natural gas to zero‑carbon fuels. The technology immediately cuts NOx emissions by up to 85% and can enable complete elimination of CO₂ from a turbine, with a single 100MW turbine fitted able to eliminate over 300,000 tons of CO₂ annually. Crosstown says its burner is faster and cheaper to install than full turbine replacements, repurposing existing infrastructure and helping avoid stranded assets. The company already works with major industry players such as Sulzer and Fortum and has won a European Patent Office patent for the burner in March 2025. With fresh funding, Crosstown plans to accelerate rollout of the H2R® Burner, expand its product portfolio across additional turbine platforms (including Rolls‑Royce, GE, Siemens, ABB) and establish further sales partnerships with ISPs and OEMs. The company is also growing its expert team at its headquarters in Switzerland to support commercialization and wider deployment. Founded in 2022 in Switzerland, Crosstown H2R develops the proprietary Crosstown Burner (H2R®) to convert gas turbines to run on hydrogen or other low-/zero-carbon fuels, eliminating CO2 emissions from those turbines. The burner is designed for ultra-low NOx capability to meet forthcoming 2025 NOx regulations in Europe and the US. The company has tested its newest generation of burners and plans installations in Sulzer's and Fortum's turbines beginning in 2024. Partnership with Sulzer provides access to over 3,500 new and existing gas-fired turbines in Europe and tens of thousands more worldwide; Fortum customers can use the burner to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by half by 2030. Crosstown highlights the scale of the opportunity by noting a single 100 MW gas turbine can emit around 300,000 tons of CO2 annually at 50% capacity. The company says its approach decouples and streamlines key production steps to handle day-to-day and seasonal variations in renewable energy supply, lowering costs while maintaining high output. With the new funding Spark plans to build its first e-fuel pilot plant, expand its team, and accelerate technology development and commercialisation. Spark was founded in 2021 and is based in Berlin. Financially, the company has raised a €2.3M pre-Seed round and has also won roughly €300k in grants.

Yama develops a hybrid electrochemical direct air capture (DAC) technology designed for ultra-low energy use and rapid deployment to enable large-scale carbon removal. The company says its breakthrough approach enables fast-paced scaling and lower energy intensity compared with conventional methods. Over the next six months Yama plans to scale its technology tenfold and build a 1 ton per day pilot plant. The company intends to deliver its first carbon credits to customers Milkywire and Klarna. Yama recently closed $3 million in funding and is actively recruiting, including expanding its team in Paris.
